What Is Your Children Policy? What Is Your Pet Policy?
We love kids! Both with and without fur 🙂 We know how hard it can be to carve out any “you time.” Your little ones are welcome to join you for your appointment if that suits you. We have complimentary WiFi for all their streaming needs.
Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are prohibited in Texas salons and skincare studios. Please leave all animals at home. The exception is service animals; however, we politely request documentation of their paperwork so that we can keep it in your client file. We strongly believe in the work that service animals do, and we want them to be able to continue their work, just as we want to safely and legally continue ours.

Why Does My Skin Feel Sensitive or Dry After a Facial?
While it’s common to experience tingling, warmth, or even changes in skin texture after your facial, rest assured it’s all perfectly normal. Don’t hesitate to email us if any sensation raises concerns.
Burning, accompanied by itchiness, redness, and swelling, should be brought to the attention of your esthetician ASAP, as these symptoms, when combined, are a sign of an allergic reaction. Your esthetician may ask you to come back in for a short calming treatment to address the concerns.

What Should I Do After My Facial?
After indulging in a refreshing facial, your skin is in a prime state to absorb goodness and radiate radiance. But a little post-treatment TLC is key to maximizing the effects and maintaining that healthy glow. Here are some simple steps to take for optimal results:
1. Clean Slate:
Swap your linens: As you mentioned, ditch the pillowcase and face towel you used before the facial. Fresh, clean cotton is your best friend now. Sweat and product buildup from the previous night can clog pores and negate the benefits of your treatment.
2. Rest and Replenish:
Hydration hero: Drink plenty of water (with a pinch of sea salt) throughout the day. Your skin is like a sponge; proper hydration helps it plump up and maintain that dewy post-facial look.
Beauty sleep: Getting enough sleep is crucial for overall health and skin health in particular. Allow your body to rest and repair, reflecting a brighter, more youthful complexion. Aim for 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night.
3. Spa-Worthy Self-Care:
Dry brush like a pro: This invigorating technique stimulates circulation and helps slough away dead skin cells, leaving your skin smoother and more receptive to serums and moisturizers. Use a gentle brush in circular motions, starting from your feet and working your way up.
Epsom salt soak: Relax and soothe your muscles with a warm bath infused with Epsom salts. These mineral-rich salts can help reduce inflammation and promote overall well-being. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for an extra aromatherapy boost.
Cold comfort: Finish your spa-like experience with a cool shower or a quick cold water rinse over your face. This helps tighten pores and reduce redness, leaving your skin refreshed and revitalized.
4. Keep it Simple:
Makeup break: Give your skin a breather from makeup for at least 24 hours after your facial. This allows the products you used during the treatment to penetrate and work their magic fully. If you must apply something, stick to lightweight mineral makeup and avoid harsh chemicals.
Gentle touch: Resist the urge to touch your face! Your fingers can harbor bacteria and oils that can irritate your freshly treated skin. If you need to apply moisturizer or sunscreen, use clean fingertips or a cotton pad.
By following these simple tips, you can extend the benefits of your facial and keep your skin glowing for days to come. Remember, consistency is key! Make these practices a part of your regular routine for long-lasting radiant skin.

How Often Do I Need to Get a Facial?
Depending on your skin condition 4 weeks is ideal as this correlates with the life cycle of your skin cells. If we are addressing acne or doing a DMK Enzyme Therapy series we will be seeing each other ever week or every other week throughout the targeted series.
Pre-booking will guarantee you the time you want but you can also sign up for my newsletter for weekly updates on last minute appointments. See you in a few weeks!
